Graham Boram - Chairperson
Graham Boram, was born and educated in Sudbury, Suffolk, UK. His career started with seven years in the Merchant Navy as an Engineering Officer followed by a managerial role with Unilever. He started his own business, namely Grabor Plastics Limited in 1972 to manufacture plastic bottles by the blow moulding method. With the rapid expansion of this company, he was able to purchase Armorex Limited in 1982, a company dealing in cementitious grouts and flooring materials. He became Chairman of both companies employing a combined staff in excess of 300 people.

He became Chairman of the Bottle Blowers Group, a Division of the British Plastics Federation in 1997 and is also a Member of the Institute of Directors. He has wide experience of business processes and in 2000 was invited to become Chairman of the Trustees of the Quay Theatre, based in his home town of Sudbury. He pursues his business interests with a standard of excellence and attention to detail of his customers, using the slogan: “Big enough to cope and small enough to care”.



Charlie Zhai – Marketing Manager
Born in China, Charlie Zhai has lived in Britain for the last ten years. Since establishing Fitz International he has gained in-depth experience in providing a wide range of services to both UK and Chinese companies. Projects have included:- market research for UK companies looking to establish their products or services in the Chinese market, whether independently or through local partnerships; providing marketing and sales support once a strategy has been drawn up; helping Chinese companies and government organizations arrange fact finding missions to the UK to meet potential distributors, customers, or UK government officials.



Andrei Protopopov - International Sales Director
Andrei oversees our sales operations in both the UK & China. A native Russian and a multilingual professional, he speaks fluent Russian, English and Mandarin. He has lived in London for eleven years now and jointly set up Fitz International. An IT professional, he runs our website and databases. He regularly travels to China to co-ordinate the management of our programmes and discuss the requirements of our network of host institutions.



Glenn Power - Recruitment & Administration
Glenn has been with the company for five years. His role is wide-ranging, with responsibility for administering the company, from personnel matters to finance.








Christine Barnes - Training Manager
Christine taught English as a foreign language in China for two years - giving her invaluable experience of living and working conditions, what is expected of teachers as well as the benefits and potential pitfalls. Christine manages our training and selection programme for teachers, ensuring they choose the posts and institutions that best suit their requirements and skills.



Wendy Y. M. Chan (BA) Programme Development Manager
Born in Bracknell (UK), Wendy’s extensive expertise has been gained in Business, Programmes and Projects spanning over 10 years. This includes 4 years management gained in a wide variety of industries including telecommunications, government, insurance, banking, blue-chip and transport industries.

Examples of projects that she has worked on are the (JLEP) Jubilee Line Extension Project, BT Home Computing, Reliability Centred Maintenance for London Underground Limited, Columbus Programme for Euler & Hermes (previously Euler Trade Indemnity) and the Hermes Due Diligence Project for Equant.





Jing Zhang – China Project Liaison Manager
Born in China, Jing has been in the import and export business for 5 years. Her extensive knowledge/experience of China has given her insight into many areas of business, having worked for many major companies in China, including the second largest retailer in the world, Carrefour. She is also a graduate in Business Management. Her main area of expertise is Customer Care and she is fluent in both Mandarin and English.


Emilio Bonfante (BEng, MSCE) – UK Project Liaison Manager
Born within the sound of Bow Bells in East London (UK) with a great sense of humour, Emilio has a multi-cultural background. Multi-talented, he is a qualified fitness instructor, electronic engineer as well as being MCP/MCSE (Microsoft Certified Professional & Software Engineer) qualified. He also has experience working in many UK Education establishments and large corporations such as Deutsche Bank.
